please give out more directions of how to get there, its only 15 mins from central station but took nearly an hour to find!!

when trying to find it go on metro from central station to Leverhausen, only 3 stops then opposite golden tulip go down steps and turn right follow road down to hotel, no locals have ever heard of hotel, it is in a back street but has a sign from one of main routes if you look hard enough! easy on the metro

The Hotel was hide to find within the City Area, mainly because we didn't get a taxi to the hotel with it being in the City of Rotterdam. When we did eventually find the hotel it was in a nice quiet spot of the city. I did enjoy my stay. The staff where fantastic and treated us well.

Top Tip
The one problem that we did have was the language barrier of course, where in Rotterdam so the language is Dutch speaking so it was awful having to tell everyone that spoke our first language was English. The Local Restuarants also a nightmare because none of the menus had anything written in English it was dutch, so yet again emabarrasing to say we only speak English and had to have assistance with ordering food and drink or just tell them what we wanted without even having to try something that we didn't really want to eat. Everything in Rotterdam City was walkable which was great the shops and restaurants are all in walking distance. Because of the weekend we was there the Zomercarnival was on so we had plenty to do. But being 1st timers in Rotterdam we didn't see much of historical interest within the city of Rotterdam, even though their was a Museum but didn't get a chance to go and visit.

Toilet was broken could not change room as hotel was fully booked, sorted the following day. no hairdryer very basic suitable for one night only stop

Local restuarants within 3 min walking distance, city shops 10 mins walk, harbour for boat trip 10mins walk mesuem close by, but we did not visit

The lack of tea making facilities in the room may annoy some people. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable

Clean and functional- extremely centrally and conveniently situated in a safe area -staff were very helpful and accomadating. Breakfast was large and good - though the coffee was instant - always unexpected when you're away from Blighty!

Top Tip
Can recommend the'Apen de Whit' The White Ape bar! - on a paralell street - two mins walk away - offered a typical early hours alternative Dutch bar with good people and music-all ages and races. Euro Hotel has the advantage of having a very distinctive landmark- a 3 storey high inflatable green rabbit - on its doorstep - should you get lost late at night!!
