The NH Atlanta Rotterdam boasts a predominantly traditional exterior, which dates from the 1930s. The small lobby is pleasantly appointed, with a marble floor, potted plants and a stained wood reception desk. Though it offers limited seating, it does lead onto a bar area, where guests can relax. The 215 guestrooms feature a pale green and light wood colour scheme and all have a writing desk and small table and chairs. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the bright, welcoming breakfast room, which is located on the ground floor. Throughout the rest of the day, its "Bar Brasserie" offers a variety of cold and hot starters, different soups and vegetarian dishes, such as Home-smoked Filet of Lamb, served on Spring Salad with Aceto Balsamico Vinegar. There is also "Sakura", a Japanese restaurant. Though it is not owned by the hotel, guests may dine there and charge the bill to their room.
