The Tulip Inn Hotel is housed in a modern harbourside building, overlooking a small square. Though compact, with relatively little seating, the lobby is warmly decorated and welcoming. Renovated in the winter of 2004/5, the 92 air-conditioned guestrooms, spread over six floors, all feature cream décor, patterned bedspreads and fabrics, and dark wood furnishings. They are clean and well maintained, as are the tiled en suite bathrooms. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the bright, welcoming breakfast room, which is located on the ground floor. There’s also a separate bar/restaurant area. Fairly small, with dark wood floors and furniture, it offers great views of the river Maas and the Erasmus bridge and serves international cuisine.
