The Savoy Hotel is housed in a modern building, with a somewhat clinical white exterior. By contrast, the medium sized lobby is strikingly appointed, with a black granite floor and a maroon coloured reception desk, which leads in turn to a compact seating area, composed of comfy armchairs and a dark wood table and chairs. Varying in size from small to medium, the 94 guestrooms are designed in a modern “Burberry” style, with camel-coloured carpets, cream walls and striped bedspreads. They also feature modern furnishings, including deep red armchairs and a desk. All are clean and well maintained, as are the tiled en suite bathrooms. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the bright, welcoming breakfast room, which is located on the ground floor and stylishly appointed with parquet floors, crisp linen table cloths and dark upholstered chairs. It also serves light meals at lunchtime.
